Old Quarry Lane, Wakeham Meadow, Wakeham Railway Cuttings, Penns Wood, St Andrew's Church Grounds, Church Ope Cove, Penn's Weare, Penn's Copse, Rufus Castle, Bumpers Lane, Broadcroft Quarry Lane, Broadcroft Butterfly Reserve, Higher Horse Paddock and Lower Horse Paddock.

A very gloomy day and a light drizzle all day long. However it wasn't all gloom and doom, as the Lower Horse paddock turned up trumps with 5 Stonechat, 3 Redwing, 1 Song Thrush, 2 Pied Wagtails, 10 Meadow Pipits, 4 Starlings and 2 fly-by Fieldfares

Elsewhere there was a Goldcrest, 2 Wrens and 2 Chaffinches in Broadcroft Quarry Lane, whilst on the beach just 1 fly-by Rock Pipit and a Herring Gull by the waters edge.

Here are a few images and videos from today:

Today there were 2 pairs and a male Stonechat in the Lower Horse paddocks.

One of the male Stonechats.

And a second male Stonechat

The light might have been gloomy, but that crest on this Goldcrest is pretty unmistakeable.
