Today was a bit like "After the Mayors Show". Having had a great day yesterday I decided to have a walk around Tout Quarry, especially as it was just around the corner from the recycling centre I had just visited. But talk about disappointing. The main highlight was a Greenfinch

Ted's not too sure whether he can get down.
And this tricky bit has stumped Ted for quite a few years, until today that is.
This afternoon there was a pair of Azure Damselflies mating in the new pond, with two male Blue-tailed Damselflies close-by.
The new pond is looking good.
