Having dropped David off at work, Ted and I called into Ferrybridge for a short walk along The Fleet. The tide was well out and there were waders just about everywhere you looked.
Main highlights were 2 Whimbrel, my first for the year and dozens of Ringed Plovers and Dunlin. Also here in good numbers were at least 30 Oystercatchers.
As I stood on the embankment, behind me were several Greenfinches calling, which is a good sign they are doing well at this location.
