On the way back from Wyke Regis I dropped into Ferrybridge, as the tide was coming in, to see if there was anything of note. Main highlights were 5 Bar-tailed Godwits, 200+ Dunlin, 10+ Ringed Plovers and 11 Turnstone along the waters edge.

There were a few Oystercatchers on the sandflats this afternoon.
One of the ten or so Ringed Plovers feeding along the waters edge.
Here's another Ringed Plover, surrounded by 7 Dunlin.
Dunlin and Ringed Plovers coming into land.
More Dunlin. In fact there were a good 200 or more feeding on the sandflats.
Two of the five Bar-tailed Godwits feeding in the shallows.
The Dunlin were very flighty, on this ocassion they took off and left the 5 Bar-tailed Godwits feeding on their own.
On the way back to the car I came across a pair of Starlings. This is a female with a pink base to her bill.
And the male with a blue base. More on sexing Starlings Here.
The Ferry Bridge before and...........
..................now gone
Looking west up the Fleet. The buildings on the right are part of the Wyke Regis Training Area Here.
There are now new signs at each location where you can get down to the beach.
Sadly not acknowledged by this dog walker!!
There is an interesting piece Here on Ferrybridge, including a painting which shows where the ferry crossing was back in 1819. Not today of course as there is now a road bridge.
