Old Quarry Lane, Wakeham Meadow, The Windmills and Perryfield Quarry Butterfly Reserve

Having just waited a good hour or more for the battery charge for my new camera, I finally got to use it. Unfortunately my walk was curtailed when the rain clouds moved in from the northwest.

Well at least I got to use it, albeit briefly.

Birds Recorded:
Herring Gull
Wood Pigeon
Magpie
Carrion Crow
House Sparrow
Chaffinch
Goldfinch

Nothing exciting I know, but a couple of photos of...........

.............Herring Gulls against the blackening skies. Rain is on the way.

And a Woodpigeon in the fading light.

Ted and Benji:

Ted of course.

And who might this be, you ask.

Of course Benji, who enjoys nothing more than a quick walk out at the front of the cottage and then a quick sprint home for a treat!

General Shot:

Centre of the frame is Portland Museum at the bottom of Wakeham.

Ships Today:

This is the Panamanian General Cargo Ship "Mikhail Dudin" on its way from Ellesmere to St Petersburg (Russia). More on this vessel Here.
