Old Quarry Lane, Wakeham Meadow, Perryfield Quarry Butterfly Reserve, Pennsylvania Castle wood, St Andrew's Church, Church Ope Cove, Rufus Castle and Bumpers Lane

It was a late afternoon walk today, so I wasn't expecting to see much, which proved to be the case. Only highlights were 3 Wrens and a Buff-tailed Bumblebee at the cove.

The beach was really quiet apart from three Wrens.

In Bumpers Lane a "charm" of Goldfinches landed in a Sycamore.

Buff-tailed Bumblebee (Bombus terrestris)

I'm enjoying using the Canon SX50HS camera again. The close-ups are really good. Sorry, I'm getting carried away, this is a Buff-tailed Bumblebee on a flowering Hebe at the cove.

All very confusing. According to marinetraffic.com, the British Aircraft Carrier  "HMS Prince of Wales" is in Lyme Bay Here. However this Aircraft Carrier was photographed east of Portland, possibly "HMS Queen ElizabethHere. However according to marinetraffic.com, she's in Lymington!!
