It was a very blustery start to the day as Storm Franklin pushed its way through with gusts reaching 81mph on Portland. However by the time I got to go for a walk, the wind speed had dropped considerably.
So the main highlights this afternoon were the over-wintering Black Redstart at the cove, and numerous hoverflies and flies on the flowering Alexanders along my walk.
