Lower Horse Paddock, Broadcroft Quarry Lane and Broadcroft Butterfly Reserve

A slightly sunnier day, well it was until I started my walk, and then it clouded over. Main highlights today were 2 Greenfinches along the lane, 5 Song Thrushes in the Lower Horse paddock where there were also the overwintering pair of Stonechats and 4 Meadow Pipits.

Here are a few images and videos from today:

A Common Buzzard

Primroses in flower, despite the freezing temperatures.

And another plant in flower a Winter Heliotrope (Petasites fragrans) and very widespread at Radipole. This one, along with many more, was in the Butterfly Reserve (east). More on this plant Here.
