It was one of those will it or won't it days, where the sun looked as if it was going to be with us for the afternoon, but sadly those few rays of sunlight lasted just a few minutes leaving a pretty raw day to be honest.
A couple of good highlights in Penns Wood, where the female Great Spotted Woodpecker has made a return and there was also a Redwing feeding on insects in the Ivy, 20ft up one of the Sycamores.
