A very windy day, with gusts up to 40mph as Storm Christoph heads our way. At least it was fairly mild, if you kept out of the wind, that is.
Highlights on my walk were a pair of Ravens which kept Ted amused and 21 Rock Pipits on the beach. It's been quite awhile since we've had double figures of the latter here.

For the first time in a long time there were good numbers of Rock Pipits on the beach, feeding on Kelp Flies.
I think Ted has just photo bombed my arty photo.
The empty Whelk egg cases make an interesting subject to photograph against the cold grey sea.
