Penns Wood, St Andrew's Church, Church Ope Cove, Church Ope Cove Wood, Wakeham Railway Cuttings and Wakeham Wood.
Another sunny day, but so windy, making it almost impossible to hear any birds let alone see them, especially in the trees along the railway cuttings and Penns Wood. Only highlights today were 2 Firecrests in Penns Wood where there was also a Chiffchaff and 2 Goldcrests. There was also another Firecrest at the back of the cove.
No sign of the "Eastern" Lesser Whitethroat along the railway cuttings, but no doubt it was taking shelter. Along here was a Great Spotted Woodpecker which for the second day running was switching between here and Penns Wood.
On the beach there were 35 Rock Pipits, 2 Pied Wagtails, 1 Grey Wagtail and 2 Wrens. Overhead the resident Kestrel was on the search for a meal, whilst the pair of Ravens were on patrol again.

As long as the Kelp Flies are about on the beach, then the...............
............Rock Pipits wont be to far away. Neither will this..........
..........Grey Wagtail either.
Yesterday I photographed a Collared Dove sat in a tree along the railway cuttings, today a Woodpigeon.
This Grey Squirrel is on the same branch I saw him on yesterday.
This is obviously his favourite spot as he takes a nap.
A "huddle" of German Wasps as they warm themselves before setting off on their foraging trips.
As they get ready to depart another emerges from the nest.
