Wakeham

Well Summer was good while it lasted and today we are back to normal with wet and windy conditions.

In fact it's been a pretty awful year so far and with the rubbish weather there have definitely been far fewer insects about than in previous years.

So as per norm................

A Marbled White in Wakeham Meadow.

A Marmalade Hoverfly (Episyrphus balteatus)

A Hornet Hoverfly (Volucella zonaria) in the grounds of St Andrew's Church

A Gatekeeper in Wakeham Meadows

A Barrel Jellyfish (Rhizostoma pulmo) in Balaclava Bay.

Bo and her mate on our roof.

A Ringlet at Church Ope Cove.
