Wakeham

After an unexpected trip into Weymouth, there wasn't an opportunity to go for a walk today. So instead it was a quick walk around the garden to see what I could find. Sadly not a lot, which was a bit of a surprise after yesterdays findings.

It looks like this Frog is well at home in the "Tractor Wheel" Pond.

A Honey Bee (Apis mellifera) nibbling on a Buckthorn leaf.

A Spined Mason Bee (Osmia spinulosa), which is a regular visitor to the garden

A Sand Wasp sp.

Dead Head Hoverfly (Myathropa florea)

And a female Swollen-thighed Beetle (Oedemera nobilis)
