Hmm. The forecast was for rain from 1:00pm onwards; unfortunately not on Portland. Having set off with Ted at midday, it wasn't long before the heavens opened and our walk came to an abrupt end. Having reached the bottom of the lane, it was getting pretty heavy, so we made a hasty retreat home.
