One of the three Grey Herons flying around the reserve.
A sleepy drake Gadwall
And my first Pochard of the year, with a further 12 birds a bit further out in the Main Lake
And talking about firsts, here are my first Goldeneyes of the year, with a stunning looking drake to the left.
Close to the north hide was this male Sparrowhawk. A juvenile if I'm not mistaken.
And the bird of the day has to be this Robin..............
.........which took a mealworm from Dawn's hand.
