Portland Bird Observatory, Obs Quarry, Portland Bill and Hut Fields

A change of scenery today and a trip to Portland Bill to see what was about.

The Black Redstart was still in the hut fields, but having seen it briefly, I failed to find it again.

There were no Purple Sandpipers about, but instead a lone Oystercatcher and a Rock Pipit on the rocks between the Obelisk and Pulpit.

A Little Owl was keeping watch from the entrance of its nest site in the quarry.
