It was another trip to Radipole Lake this afternoon and with the water levels very low, it was good to see a few waders about with 3 Snipe and 5 Black-tailed Godwit feeding in the shallows just north of the visitor centre.
Also in front of the visitors centre were six gull species 40+ Black-headed Gull, 5 Mediterranean Gull, 30+ Herring Gull, 2 Great Black-backed Gull, 8 Common Gull and new for the year 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls.
Other birds of interest were two Great Crested Grebes, the first I have seen here this year and 2 Chiffchaffs.
