Two Mile Coppice, Teddy Bears Wood, Lodmoor RSPB Reserve, Weymouth & Portland Rugby Club, Park & Ride and Greenway Road

As it was Dawns day off, we decided to take Ted on a long walk. And what better place to go than Lorton Valley Nature Park, a place I first walked back in December 2021 Here.

Despite the fine misty rain, it was actually a good walk. Not only to stretch our legs, but also bird-wise with four new species for my year list. They were Green Woodpecker, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Jay and Rook

General Shots:

Teddy Bears Wood

And Dawn's Crocodile head.

Dawn sat on the Andy Kirkby's Weymouth Gateway Sculpture "Torpedosaur" by the entrance of Mount Pleasant "Park and Ride". More on this sculpture Here. And a better photo than mine Here

Ted:

There's nothing like a good buzz and.............

.............and a run through Teddy Bears Wood.

And unsurprisingly after all that running, its a quick break before continuing our walk
