Wakeham

Today was pretty nippy with the temperature not rising above 1.5°C in the shade, so it wasn't surprising to see both ponds frozen over. At least I had the presence of mind to put some water dishes out for the birds.

So the afternoon was spent in the garden, cutting up the piles of Buddleia twigs and branches I had previously cut back, into kindling for the wood burner.

The "Cherry Tree" Robin was still about and keeping its distance from the "Courtyard" Robin, which was enjoying the free food on offer in the conservatory.

Birds Recorded:
Herring Gull
Wood Pigeon
3 Dunnock
2 Robin
1 Blackbird
