After a shopping trip, Ted and I had a walk along the esplanade from Portland Castle Beach to Portland Marina, and then back.
Highlight on our walk was a Little Grebe fishing in Portland Marina.

This male Pied Wagtail followed me and Ted along the esplanade, whilst several others flew overhead to a possible roost close-by

This Little Grebe was fishing in Portland Marina.
Time after time it dived down for a fish.........
............and was quite successful.
