Lodmoor RSPB Reserve

While Ted and Benji were both at the dog groomers I had a walk around Lodmoor reserve. However just before I dropped them off, it was pretty wet with heavy wintry showers. Fortunately it moved through pretty quickly and the remainder of the day was really sunny, albeit very cold.

The reserve was really flooded and covered in ice. But even with only a few open areas, there were a fair few bird species about with 45 species noted, including 18 new species for my 2023 list, which now stands at 62 now.
