Chesil Beach Cove

On the way into Weymouth I stopped off at Chesil Cove in the hope of seeing the Grey Phalarope which has been here for a few days. Unfortunately the wind got the better of me and it was nigh impossible to find a sheltered spot to look for it.

Birds Recorded:
Herring Gull
Great Black-backed Gull
Pied Wagtail
Carrion Crow

One of several Great Black-backed Gulls searching for food along Chesil Beach

General Shots:

Very stormy seas along the south coast.

And a lot of marine debris.

Though it does make you wonder how..........

.............some of it ended up in the sea. More on Marine Debris Here.

Ted:
Ted has missed out on long walks for the past week or so.

He certainly enjoyed it today, despite the wind
