Out and About

It was yet another trip back to Bodenham today for Dawn's appointment with her surgeon, who wanted to have a look at her other shoulder to see what needs doing for her next key-hole op. The appointment was for 40 minutes, so instead of walking down to the River Avon I drove there, so that Ted and I could have a walk along the river bank.

Ninety minutes later and Dawn rang to say she had finished. Needless to say, Ted and I had a pretty good walk.

Main highlights were 2 Cuckoos interacting and a Nightingale singing downstream from where I had parked.

The journey to Bodenham was pretty good as well, with 2 Corn Buntings and a Yellowhammer singing from the hedges near Throop and a Red Kite just south of Salisbury.
