After a few small jobs in the caravan before the new guests arrive, Ted and I had a lovely walk around the "block" in the sun. Thankfully, and despite the howling south-westerly again, it was a walk that didn't need a jacket.
Main highlights were two Chiffchaffs singing around Tidmoor Cove, where the Common Whitethroat family are still active. As for the butterflies, well yesterday I had twelve around Church Ope Cove, but on my walk this afternoon I recorded 13 species including my first Gatekeeper of the year.
