Lower Horse Paddock and Broadcroft Butterfly Reserve

It was another beautiful sunny and very warm day, so I decided on a walk around the Butterfly Reserve to see what was about. There were certainly plenty of butterflies about and I'm pretty sure I came across around 13. My only doubt being on the final number, is that I knew there were a few Silver-studded Blues about, as I had met a few lepidopterists earlier who had seen a few plus a Ringlet.. Unfortunately if I did see any Silver-studded Blues, non would settle for me to ID them properly.

On the bird front it was good to see at least 5 Swifts screaming overhead, and "my" male Chaffinch with the aberrant song is still singing away on the reserve.
