Well it might have been the longest day today, but for me I managed to miss most of it as the big "C" meant I slept for a good 16 hours through the night up until 1:00pm this afternoon. I have never felt so tired and drained as I was yesterday.
Dawn and I still had a few things to sort out at the caravan today, and having completed our tasks we had a walk around the "block" for some fresh air.
Main highlights were four juvenile Common Whitethroats chasing their parents for food, 2 Chiffchaffs singing and several Swallows "buzzing" around the farm

Looks can be deceiving. My first thought was that this was an adult male Common Whitethroat. I was correct on one account, its a male, but a juvenile, with a slight yellow gape still.
