Lorton Valley Nature Park

Most of my walks in Lorton Valley Nature Park have been at Lodmoor RSPB Reserve, so today I thought I would try another section of this huge park. What I hadn't bargained on though, was the amount of mud that Ted and I had to squelch through. It was horrendous, but the visit was well worth it, with 11 new species to add to my 2022 bird species list.

Really!! Even when I slackened off the lead, I had to go back and show him how to get around the post.
