Penns Wood, St Andrew's Church and Church Ope Cove

Well we still have a High Pressure system, but instead of wall to wall blue skies and sun, today it was 100% cloud cover. Only highlight was a Firecrest at the bottom of Pennsylvania Castle Wood, and that was it. Still it was good to get out for a walk.

Birds Recorded:
Herring Gull
Wood Pigeon
Dunnock
Robin
Blackbird
1 Firecrest
Great Tit
Blue Tit
Wren
Magpie
Carrion Crow
House Sparrow
Chaffinch
Goldfinch

Just recently there have one or two Herring Gulls in the grounds of Pennsylvania Castle. Though I haven't seen them "paddling" the ground with their feet to catch earthworms, I wouldn't mind betting they have been doing this.

In the grounds of St Andrew's Church there were 3 Robins singing and all social distancing.

Ted:

It's that look again. Who knows what he's thinking!!
