Just for a change I took Ted for a walk around The Bill, and it was a good call especially as I came across 9 Purple Sandpipers and a Kittiwake. The Kittiwake was sat on a rocky outcrop, just a few metres from the coast path. This has to be the the closest I have been to one, since I used to watch them at their nest site in Lowestoft many moons ago.

This is an adult in Winter plumage.
And a short video of the Kittiwake before it flew off.
Close to the Obelisk was this Raven, its mate was close-by.
