Penns Wood, St Andrew's Church and Church Ope Cove

This is more like it, wall to wall blue sky and sunshine. Despite the temperature only reaching 6.0°C, I came across two bee species and three hoverfly species on the flowering Hebe at the cove and a Red Admiral in Pennsylvania Castle Wood.

On the bird front there were 2 Goldcrests and a Chiffchaff in Pennsylvania Castle Wood, 8 Rock Pipits, 2 Pied Wagtails, 1 Grey Wagtail and a Robin on the beach, whilst out to sea there were dozens of Razorbills & Guillemots fishing just off Church Ope Cove.
