A very local walk today, with the main highlights being 5 Greenfinches along the lane and a Primrose about to flower in the Butterfly Reserve.

Well I was expecting to see Primroses in leaf, but not..........
..........a flower head. In fact a bit further down the stem there were two more buds.

In amongst the Winter Heliotrope I came across this flower.
It is certainly a vivid pink, but I have no idea what it is. Yet!!!
