Museum, Rufus Castle, Penn's Copse and Penn's Weare

Something I haven't done in a long time and that was spending a few hours sea fishing. Not from a boat, but off one of the jetty's along Penn's Weare. And what a great couple of hours it was with 6 Ballan Wrasse and a small Pollack caught on very light tackle and Ragworm for bait. Plus all the fish were returned safely.

The birding was pretty good as well, with 6 Wheatear, a Whinchat and several Swallows passing through. On the way back home, I came across a few Chiffchaffs and at least 3 Blackcaps.

The main highlight though, was on my way down to the jetty and finding a huge colony of Ivy Bees, with probably a good 200+.
