Portland Bird Observatory, PBO Quarry, The Bill and Hut Fields

Having dropped Benji and Ted off at the "Barbers", I returned to Portland and headed off to the Bill to see if any of the 7 Wrynecks, seen here over the past week or so, were still around. Guess what, yep they had all gone. Not only that, as soon as I had left the Obs it started to rain, so it was back off home to get some waterproofs. Needless to say, when I returned it had stopped raining.

Not a good start, but there were still some good birds to be seen, before I headed back to Weymouth, to pick the pooches up.
