Yet another wet miserable day, but it wasn't going to stop Ted and I from doing our exercise walk around the block.
With the steady drizzle falling I wasn't expecting to see much, and so it proved to be the case with the only highlights being 1 Chiffchaff and a Great Spotted Woodpecker along the railway cuttings, 12 Long-tailed Tits along Bumpers Lane and 3 Stonechats & a Song Thrush in the Lower Horse paddock.
Here are a few images and videos of the Chiffchaff along Wakeham Railway Cuttings:
Along Bumpers Lane were 12 Long-tailed Tits and these Goldfinches.
This is what you call a record shot. A photograph of a Song Thrush taken at long distance in the lower Horse paddock. Even at a good 80 metres away, I was surprised it hadn't spotted me and flown off.
And Ted letting the local Foxes know that he can smell them in Bumpers Lane Quarry.
