Penns Wood, St Andrew's Church Grounds and Church Ope Cove
What a wet and miserable day, fortunately there was at least one break from the rain and I managed a quick walk down to the cove from Penns Wood.
No Black Redstart today, but there were 15 Rock Pipits on the beach, whilst out to sea were dozens of Gannets heading south.
In the grounds of St Andrew's Church there was a single Chiffchaff and another one in Penns Wood. And on my return journey through the wood I came across a flock of Long-tailed Tits, Great Tits, Blue Tits, 4 Goldcrests and a Firecrest, plus the female Great Spotted Woodpecker.
Here are a few images and videos from today:

It was pretty rough today.
And there wasn't too much on the beach with..........
...........most of the action being out to sea, with quite a few Gannets heading south.
No Black Redstart or wagtails today, but at least there were 15 Rock Pipits on the beach.
On most days, especially when it's dry, there are trillions of Kelp Flies. But with the really damp and overcast conditions this afternoon, I wasn't expecting to see millions of Sandhoppers. They were absolutely everywhere.
Here is a slo-mo of the Sandhoppers. Even slowed down its difficult to see them "hopping" off.
Flies, Craneflies, Gnats and Midges Recorded: Kelp Fly (Coelopa frigida)
Sandhoppers Recorded: Talitrus saltator.
