The weather is so changeable at the moment, but hopefully today's sunny conditions will continue for awhile.
There was no chance to get out of the house today, as I continued rebuilding of the Duck Pen, to something a bit more substantial. I.e. Fox and Cat proof, plus keeping Benji and Ted out.
So not a lot of time for watching the wildlife, apart from a late afternoon break when I checked out the pond area. On the Lavender next to the pond were 2 Blue-tailed Damselflies and a third close by. On the pond were the usual Semaphore Flies and all males again, whilst on the garden shed there was a Bumblebee, which could possibly be a Field Cuckoo Bee (Bombus campestris) or even a male Forest Cuckoo Bee (Bombus sylvestris)
A pair of Dunnocks were also busy feeding youngsters in the neighbours garden, whilst overhead there were at 6 House Martins feeding high above the houses.
Here are a few images from today.

One of the adult Dunnocks looking for food for its youngsters in the neighbours garden.
The Lavender stems are proving to be excellent resting places for these..........
...........three Blue-tailed Damselflies.
Well they were until this one decided a Sycamore leaf was a better perch.
Two male Semaphore Flies waiting patiently for a female to turn up.
And two shots of my mystery Bumblebee.
The closest I can get is possibly a Field Cuckoo Bee (Bombus campestris). Possibly similar to this one Here
