After yesterday's eventful day it was back in the garden sorting out the garden shed and other neglected tasks. At least it was another glorious day, and so many butterflies seen, including an Adonis Blue (a garden first) and a very pale Painted Lady which flew north over the garden.
So junior (Herring Gull) has left the nest and is now checking out the neighbourhood.
He even came up to me to say hello and......
......................then had a walkabout before.........
...........heading to our neighbour's back garden gate.
After several attempts to get through the bars on the gate, he walked off down Bumpers Lane........
...........whilst the parents watched on.
My first ever Adonis Blue in the back garden.
Just the 2 photos of this female and then she was off.
Just the 1 male Blue-tailed Damselfly seen by the pond today.
And a Potter Wasp.
A couple of 7-spot Ladybirds in the garden today.
And of course the Semaphore Flies dancing on the pond.
