A late afternoon spent in the back garden. No new birds to add to my garden lockdown list, but there was a good number of Swallows flying over the garden, plus a Yellow Wagtail. The Common Whitethroat in the Lower Horse paddock was very vocal this afternoon, whereas the 2nd male has stopped singing.
The garden seemed to be void of invertebrates this afternoon and all came across were singles of Yellow-legged Mining Bee, Ashy Mining Bee, Buff-tailed Bumblebee, Narcissus Bulb Fly and a Marmalade Hoverfly.
Not a single butterfly was seen, but I did come across a Light Brown Apple Moth.
The pond needed topping up again today and though there were no sightings of the Palmate Newts, a Frog did stick its head out of the water briefly.
Just for a minute or so this Frog popped its head out of the pond.

Looks like Benji has found a stick to play with.
