Having just got over covid, I'm now suffering from vertigo. And what a weird sensation that is.
So as not to fall over unexpectedly, plus it was raining anyway, I decided I would probably be better off staying at home today. Only highlight in the garden was a Chiffchaff passing through.
So what happened on this day over the past 6 years!!
It's a rare sight to see a Cetti's Warbler out in the open.
A Dark-edged Bee-fly (Bombylius major)
My first ever Gorse Shieldbug (Piezodorus lituratus) in Broadcroft Butterfly Reserve
A Dotted Bee-fly (Bombylius discolor)
My first ever Grey-patched Mining Bee, Andrena nitida.
Goldfinches on the feeders.
