Well the idea was to have a walk around The Bill, the Top Fields and Sweet Hill Farm in the hope of spotting Yellow Wagtail, Whinchat and Common Redstart as they are now starting to arrive on the island. Well that thought went out the window, when yet again we have south-westerlies gusting to around 50mph. When will we ever get a prolonged spell of calm weather!!
Unsurprisingly I failed on all three accounts, but was rewarded with some fantastic views of the Western Subalpine Warbler, which stayed overnight and well into today.
