It was yet again another lovely warm sunny day, with a lot more Spring migrants pushing through, including a Cuckoo which I heard at the back of the house around 10:30am, and was most likely the same individual heard 5 to 10 minutes earlier by a resident at Thumb Lane, who I got chatting to later in the day.
Other highlights were
Hirundines: 100's passing over the island, especially above West Weare's.
Stonechat: 1 male at Reap Lane Barns
Wheatear: 8 along the Southwest Coast Path above the West Cliffs
Common Whitethroat: 1 in Wakeham Meadows
Lesser Whitethroat: 1 in Thumb Lane
Blackcap: 1 Avalanche Road Bump
Chiffchaff: 1 Old Quarry Lane and 4 around Thumb Lane
Pied Flycatcher: 1 male in Thumb Lane
Wheatear: 8 above the West Cliffs.
