It was another dry day, and though there was little sunshine today, at least the wind had died down somewhat.
There were a few highlights today, however not as good as the Subalpine Warbler on the west side of Portland here, but there were a few on my local patch:
Buzzard: Three birds circling over Wakeham
Peregrine Falcon: A single bird over Broadcroft Quarry Lane
Swallow: a single bird over the butterfly reserve.
Blackcap: A pair on the butterfly reserve.
Chiffchaff: One singing again in Old Quarry Lane, and another calling on the butterfly reserve.

A lowlight of the day though went to an adult Fulmar, which flew west over the reserve from Grove Cliffs, with a "Drone" flying behind it. Whether it was trying to avoid it, I don't know, but it certainly wasn't happy about it.
