Furzedown Farm, Tidmoor Cove and Lynch Cove

It was quick tidy up in the caravan before the first guests of the year arrive on Wednesday and afterwards myself, Dawn and Ted had a very muddy walk around the farm and two coves.

Main highlight was a Red-legged Partridge which having seen us walking down through the horse paddocks decided to take off and head for another field.

Other highlights were my first Sandwich Terns of the year, dozens of Chiffchaffs and Willow Warblers at the back of Tidmoor Cove, and a Cetti's Warbler which burst into song and nearly burst my eardrums it was that close.

My first Sandwich Terns of the year and.......

...........another one fishing in The Fleet

Not an easy bird to photograph, but this Cetti's Warbler was very obliging. I should think so to, after it scared the life out of me and Dawn.

A lone Rook heads out over The Fleet
