With news that there were at least 3 Ring Ouzels, a few Serin and 2 Cirl Buntings in and around the Crown Estate Fields, it would have been a shame not to drive a couple of miles to see them.
As per usual the Ring Ouzels had gone and the Serin were impossible to find. However I did hear a Cirl Bunting singing in Culverwell before it flew south.
Other highlights were:
Whimbrel - 7 heading east over the Higher Lighthouse.
House Martin - 4 heading north over the Crown Estate Fields.
