Bumpers Lane, Broadcroft Quarry Lane, Broadcroft Quarry Pools, Broadcroft Butterfly Reserve, Upper Horse Paddock and Lower Horse Paddock

With the westerly gale force winds gusting to 44 mph, any hope of seeing anything of note was going to be hard. And so it was, with just a small flock of 12 Chaffinch being the highlight of the walk.

At the entrance of the German Wasp nest in Bumpers Lane were just two individuals, moving about very slowly.

Great Black-backed Gull
Wood Pigeon

Not much in the Lower Horse paddock today. There was this adult Herring Gull and........

Along Broadcroft Quarry Lane, the only highlights were a dozen or so Chaffinches taking shelter in the bushes.
