When you've got an itch, its good to have a good scratch. Behind are two more adult Herring Gulls canoodling.
This Herring Gull is "Worm-charming". As it foot-paddles, it produces vibrations that mimic the sound of raindrops, which in turn entice worms to the surface. And that is exactly what happened in this video. More on foot-paddling Gulls Here.
Two Stock Doves
And for comparison two Wood Pigeons. On the right an adult and a juvenile on the left without its white collar, which should start to appear in 6 months time.
