Late afternoon, before a bit of grocery shopping, I dropped into the visitors centre at Chesil Beach for a quick look along the sandflats.
As the tide dropped, more and more waders dropped in, with a good 40+ Ringed Plover, 200+ Dunlin, 3 Bar-tailed Godwit and 20+ Turnstone.
On the water there 15 Brent Geese, a Common Scoter and alone Red-breasted Merganser, whilst in front of the centre 6 Skylark dropped in to join 2 Meadow Pipit and a Pied Wagtail.
