What a gloomy day. In fact as the day wore on, it appeared to get darker and darker. Consequently quite a few of today's photos look pretty dire.
Highlights today were:
A male Sparrowhawk - Over Church Ope Cove
1 Black-headed Gull - Swimming just off the beach
15 Lesser Black-backed Gull - heading up the coast
8 Rock Pipit - On the beach
3 Pied Wagtail - On the beach
1 Black Redstart - Northeast corner of the cove.
2 Chiffchaff - 1 Old Quarry Lane and 1 Wakeham Railway Cuttings.
No bees or butterflies today, but I did record 3 unidentified moths at the cove, where there was also an Ichneumon wasp.

A compilation of seven videos into one, of the Black Redstart at the cove this afternoon. Not really audible in the videos, but it was calling almost continuously. Perhaps a juvenile male!!
