Wakeham

It was a dull, cloudy and very windy day, so it was a bit of gardening and grass cutting. I can't remember when the grass was last cut, but it was certainly before the heatwave hit us. As I was mowing the lawn a Robin was following me at close quarters.

Other than the Robin, there was a lone Chiffchaff calling from the neighbour's garden, whilst on the feeders there were around 20 House Sparrows.

Birds Recorded:
Herring Gull
Wood Pigeon
Dunnock
Robin
1 Chiffchaff
Magpie
Carrion Crow
20+ House Sparrow
6 Goldfinch

There's definitely a pecking order when it comes to feeding time.

I counted at least 18 House Sparrows with a few others in the Buddleia. Just the one Goldfinch on the Nyjer feeder and yes that was Ted barking at the end of the video.
