Bumpers Lane, Broadcroft Quarry Lane, Broadcroft Butterfly Reserve, Upper Horse Paddock and Lower Horse Paddock

Well it started off sunny and then the clouds moved in slowly over the island. Only highlights this afternoon were 10 Chiffchaffs, 8 in Broadcroft Quarry Lane and 2 in the Lower Horse Paddock. Plus dozens of Sand Martin, House Martin and Swallows.

A lone Yellow Wagtail flew north!

Its been quite noticeable over the past few days that a few Robins are taking up "Winter" residences.

The movement of Chiffchaffs heading south is still ongoing.

Most have been down Broadcroft Quarry Lane

With others feeding in the trees alongside.......
